Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced the launch of new flights and holiday packages to La Palma, making it their fifth Canary Islands destination. Services are due to begin in 2026, giving UK holidaymakers even more choice for year-round sunshine.

New Year-Round Routes from Two Airports

From 3 April 2026, Jet2 will operate two weekly flights, on Mondays and Fridays, from Manchester Airport to La Palma. An exclusive service from London Stansted Airport will follow on 26 October 2026, also with flights on Mondays and Fridays.

The new routes aim to meet growing demand from travellers looking for a quieter Canary Islands experience, with La Palma offering a slower pace compared to its busier neighbours.

Packages and Island Highlights

Jet2holidays will offer a selection of 2- to 4-star hotels in resorts such as Los Cancajos, Puerto Naos, and Tazacorte. Known as “La Isla Bonita,” the island is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, celebrated for its lush forests, volcanic landscapes, dramatic coastlines, and clear night skies that make it a world-class stargazing destination.

Expanding Jet2’s Canary Islands Network

With La Palma added to the schedule, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will now serve five destinations in the Canary Islands, joining Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, and Tenerife.

What Jet2 Had to Say

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said:

“The launch of La Palma gives holidaymakers and independent travel agents the chance to enjoy everything this incredible island has to offer… we are confident that these new flights and holidays will prove popular with customers looking for an adventure-style holiday, paired with knockout scenery.” La Palma’s addition to the Jet2 network offers UK travellers a new gateway to one of Spain’s most scenic islands, with convenient flight times, flexible holiday packages, and plenty to explore both on and off the beaten track.
